According to the Minister of Information Technology, telecom companies in the country will have the opportunity to offer mobile phones to citizens through leasing plans, thereby expanding the reach of mobile broadband services.
The ‘Smartphone for All’ project, set to launch soon, aims to ensure that every citizen in Pakistan possesses a smartphone. The initiative is expected to contribute to economic growth and encourage the adoption of e-commerce practices.

Eligible citizens with valid ID cards, including students, professionals, and individuals with low incomes, can benefit from this scheme. The proposed plan outlines that Pakistanis can obtain smartphones through interest-free installments, requiring a minimum down payment of 20 percent.
